A fake country girl. A girl that thinks she is country because she owns a pair of boots and listens to mainstream country music. A large population of these types of girls can be found living in California, living a city lifestyle. Although they may seem "country", when challenged you quickly realize they are just in it for the attention and country boys.
I asked Kelly if she knew what the difference between hay and straw was, she just looked at me funny. She's definitely a fountry girl.

Get the Fountry Girl mug.A VSCO girl is usually in between the ages of 12-30 years old but most are in high school and middle school. They mostly say "sksksksks" "AND I OOP!" And "Save the turtles" because turtles are endangered because of plastic straws. They also wear scrunchies as an accessoire on their arms and when they get a boyfriend, they put the scrunchie on their on as a symbol that they are taken. And the boyfriend gives the VSCO girl his sweatshirt. In other words, VSCO girls are okay.
Girl 1: Wow didn't you hear that (name) Is growing into a VSCO girl?
Girl 2: No! that's so weird for her to do that!

Get the VSCO girl mug.A VSCO girl is an aesthetic/trend which seems to have originated from an editing app which you can also post on called, (hence the name), VSCO. They are typically depicted as girls from their late-teens to their early-20s. Similar to eboys and egirls, the majority of them only exist on the internet. It is much easier to find a true VSCO girl out in the open. However, that being said some have the "traits" (we'll get into those traits later) of VSCO girl without knowing it.
The majority of VSCO girls like wearing tube tops or sometimes baggy shirts, often yellow. They also enjoy jeans or denim shorts. There are also a range of items that are deemed as "VSCO girl must-haves" such as Mario Bascedu skin products, a HydroFlask, LOTS of scrunchies, Vans slip-ons or sandals, a Fijall Raven Kanken backpack, many rope or beaded bracelets, a Polaroid camera, a possible Starbucks drink, and a puka shell necklace.
As well as clothing and items, they have a few sets of mannerisms. They like to text "sksksksksk" at every chance they get. They also use the phrase "And I oop-", first seen on RuPaul's Drag Race by drag queen Jasmine Masters. While they are more realistic, you can tell by looking at them that they have at least 3 social media accounts (and if they only have one it's got to be VSCO).
