Nomversation

A conversation centered around food. Derived from the popular expression "Om nom nom". Often occurring in health class or with friends when there is nothing left to say. The new alternative for talking about the weather.

"Yo. I love cupcakes."
"Omg! Red velvet is my FAVORITE!"
"Whoahh, this is totally a nomversation.."

"I had no idea what to say to her. It ended up being a really awkward nomversation."

"We eat so much. We are soo fat."

Catversation

A conversation held with a cat. Often an action done by someone quite lonely and therefore with no one else to talk to, but also possible to be done by a person who talks to much (i.e. likes to hear their own voice).

Alastair: Where's Mary?
Barnaby: She's at her house having a wonderful catversation with fluffy.
Alastair: Why are we even friends with such a loser?

When two people, seemingly involved in a conversation are actually engaged in an exchange of back-to-back unrelated statements or monologues.

Jill: Pink is like, my favorite color.
Jack: I like turtles.

Observer 1: Woah, Jack and Jill are totally hitting it off!
Observer 2: nah, it's just a converbation.
