shopping cart races

An event created summer of 2009, and held in Anchorage, Alaska on a random Thursday night, where teams of "girlfriends" enjoy a scavenger hunt throughout downtown, stopping at the local bars and misc places along the way. Each team must have a theme, and dress up as well as decorate their shopping cart accordingly. They must also have a digital camera to document their tasks and a check off list for the bartenders at each stop to initial after the specified drink has been drunk. We do not encourage stealing shopping carts and will take full responsibility for such actions once we're arrested, because there's a good chance it'll happen.

B: "what is all this talk about shopping cart races and how did i get involved?"
K: "your girlfriend agreed to it without your knowledge, now you're stuck. It'll be fun, shopping carts, decorations, booze... and possibly an arrest"
B:"i knew if i hung out with people with tattoos and piercings, this would happen..."

Sholing

A very nice little part of Southampton with a village green, a Tescos and a few other shops. It spreads out quite a bit so it's not always clear where Sholing starts and ends. Sholing is near to Weston, Woolston, Thornhill, Bitterne and Bursledon.

gopher shopping

When a completely inept person, sends an equally inept person (or gopher), to do their own shopping. Often, the gopher can be observed standing in the middle of the store, yapping on a cell phone with the person who subsequently sent them. Screaming out a variety of sizes, colours, and prices.

"That customer doesn't seem to know what she wants."

"Of course she doesn't. She's gopher shopping."

Bod Scoping

The process of either males or females checking out their own sex within the locker room or changing room of a gym or fitness center.

Purpose: to check out other people's physical features, which makes oneself either feel better or worse about their own body.

I hate changing at the gym, I feel as though everyone is just bod scoping me up and down!
