Get the Shammug. A reliable, dependable and trustworthy person from Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, Ireland. Somebody who can help you out in a pinch.
Typically seen driving a Toyota Corolla, VW Golf, or if the Sham is wealthy enough a Honda Civic or Subaru Impreza though this is not always the case.
A Sham will always get their round at the pub, have a spare lighter and offer a smoke before you even have to ask.
Some may earn the title of a "Real Sham".
A Real Sham is for those who have gone to help a community out at the car boot sale, if you're stuck for a gaff for the nite (a home or place to sleep) and would be your best man at a wedding and actually organise a proper stag night
Other titles such as a "Sly Sham" would be able to jerryrig your car to pass an NCT (Annual vehicle safety test). Set you up with recreational substances and will never rat you to the Gardai (Police).
Shams are often the victim or target of Knackers (Troublemakers who are untrustworthy).
