Colonizer

Colonizer is a descriptive term for someone who believes in and perpetuates ideas that separate us from each other, nature, our people, etc or actively push ideologies that harm BIPOC.

It is not exclusive to one group of people; however, it certainly describes a portion of people that benefit from white supremacy—an element of colonization.

No, “colonizer” is not a slur or derogatory term.

So if that term bothers you, it’s probably describing you.
