Faux Period

Because of certain medical reasons, the body may naturally cease to have a regular menstrual cycle (aka a period). A common medical reason would be birth control such as the Mirena IUD. You experience all the same symptoms (acne, bloating, cravings, moodiness etc.) but never get your period.

Ugh, I've been bloated for days and my face is breaking out. I must be having my faux period!
