When there is a group of people (a group of friends, usually) and some form of drama causes a member of the group to be alienated. Usually this person doesn't have any other friends to turn to, so now, he's essentially friendless because of drama.

The most common form of clusterfucking occurs when you have a group of friends where two of them are dating, but they break up, causing everyone in the group to hate one of the people who broke up.

Man, I've gotta get new friends so I can prevent myself getting clusterfucked.

In beirut, when team members make shots into the same cup in one turn, the opposing team has to drink every cup that is touching that cup in addition to the cup the shots were made in to. In addition to that, the players that just shot get to take another turn.
If the game is a more than two players, the number of shots made into a cup for a clusterfuck must be determined. For instance, if the game is 4 on 4, 3 shots into the same cup may qualify as a clusterfuck.
