Landfill Indie - a term most likely derived from a white pretentious hipster, circa 2000-2005 via the Midwest. Lumping several artists/bands music into a “landfill” of same/similar music. Labeled as uninspiring and mass produced. Something they are unable to gate keep due to its mass appeal.
