Get the Team HitBmug. Meet the Team is a series of Source Filmmaker animations published by Valve to promote Team Fortress 2. The series consisted of 10 episodes, 9 of which star the main 9 playable characters and a 10th joke episode about the Heavy Weapons Guy's secondary weapon, the Sandvich (which is really just a sandwich, that in-game, restores 300 health for the Heavy and acts as a Medium Health Kit when given out to players). The series has helped Valve with developing the game's technology. Meet the Heavy, the first entry of Meet the Team, helped Valve test facial animations for more expressions for the characters in-game.

The phrase describes a reaction of a player that has started a team fight but his team has not followed him because the other players have brain malfunction which results in the player going alone in the enemy team and getting killed because of it.
