Scene kid

Literally the epitome of the mid-to-late 2000s. A style and subculture that was/is highly criticized but now brings back memories of a more simpler time. And tbh, I would rather have scene kids than today's tiktok kids, which are 10x worse.

You know when someone is truly a scene kid when they're still rocking the scene look today, which technically makes them non-conformists now.

Well.. scene kids are very hard 2 xplain. since i am a scene kid my slf i shall try my hardest to help u get the basics. First off- We're not emo!!! okay.. that's jus a sterotype made by MTV... stupid them... anywhoo.. Scene kids typically use phrases such as: rawr, rad, stellar, that's the sex, ur the shit... yes stuff like that. i myslf use the word, spiffy.

Scene Chix:
Clothes: tight jeans, band t-shirt of sume sort. we luve 2 wear clothes that dont match 2 most ppl but make since to us.
Shoes: vans, skate shoes, converse
Accesories: studded belt usually whtie, bandana, stuff that involves Hello Kitty, TMNT, and rainbow.

as for orientation, that truely depends on the person. sume mite be bi, gay, lesbian or striaght, i am bi.. so yah

Scene Kids are more of....a confused breed. They don't know if they would fall into the prep} crowd, the emo croud, or the punks. But wherever they are...theyre safe...they can be considerd part of the group anywhere.

punk boy: So, you listen to rock?
scene kid girl: hella yah!

prep girl: So, you ever heard of...Fall out boy?!
scene kid boy: Heck yes! Theyre only the most hottest thing since..ever!

Emo boy: My life effin sucks

Scene kids are usually teenagers (between 13 and, well, truly grown up) who go to shows alot. They mosh, alot. The typically listen to scremo. EMO KIDS ARE NOT SCENE. the consider it an insult to be called emo. they also tend to fallow scene points and if they don't know what those are donot hold it against them because they are either new or the just don't give a fuck. actually, that was it, they dont give a fuck about anything, and speaking as a scene girl, i don't even care who i fuck, and many of my peers agree. we like to be able to get to shows free. typically there is weed involved, or pills, or alcohol, most of the time all three. cigarettes are also love, and there is an obsession with guns. YAY GUNS! black eyeliner with neon eyeliner around it are very popular for boys and girls, as are drain pipes. hats are uncool because, well common, they mess up are georgous hair. its also considered more scene to cut your own hair. its not scene to have the same cut as other kids in your local scene because thats making yourself into a poser. posers are not cool. FUCK POSERS! guys are usually bi. this is not that unhot. but sometimes it is...sex is cool. sex with lead singers of local bands, or (if your the luckiest woman on the face of the earth) sex with the lead singer of a huge band like Taking Back Sunday is the greatest thing you can do. Now, you can go fuck yourselves. I have a polar pop, some fiddle faddle and a copy of The Perks of Being a Wallflower waiting for me. ktnxbai

Scene Kid

Scene kids are often found in malls shopping at Hottopic. Scene kids are very close with a small group of friends. Scene kids typically wear eyeliner (girls) but not all the way down to their cheak bone. They are often mistaken for an emo kid. SCENE KIDS TO NOT CUT. Being scene is not always a bad thing. But their is taking it to far. For example, more than 2 colors in your hair is just starting to be to much. Most scene kids either have gauges, lots of ear piercings or face piercings. Scene kids can be very cool people who's personalitys all slightly differ. Most scene kids are always on the scene meaning at the rock shows (Warped Tour) Skinny Jeans, Converse, Vans, black boots, a band t-shirt, or somthing involving hello kitty are often included in a scene kids wardrobe. Most of these clothes are very tight. Hair of both sexes is usually parted to the side. Scene Kids are the new wave hardcore kids. Often mistaken for emo because of people's ignorance. All scene kids style and straighten their hair. Most wear eyeliner (not to be confused with emo eyepaint), girl pants and tight band/splash paint style shirts. Scene kids are often mistaken for emo kids. Scene is a mixture of emo and preppy and they like to go to shows (where the scene is). Scene kids will occasionally listen to a rap song.
