Prep 

A "Prep" is not someone who attends a "Prep School" or is Rich and lives in a Rich Neighborhood. A Prep is someone, from any background adn any age, who conforms to the largest majority. Preps are usually very ignorant of anything that seems to have the slightest difference from anything that has to do with them. Preps will insult or possibly even attack anything/one that is different. These creatures tend to not be very intelegent, and usually do things because others do it, tell them to do it, or it will make them popular.

Most preps wear clothes from such stores as Ambercombie, Hollister, Aeropostle, etc. But this is not always the case. You don't have to be a Blonde Slut at School to be a Prep. No! Infact, Preps sometimes wear disguises to infilitate minorities. Some Emo Kids can be Preps, as so can Jocks, Gangsters and Skaters.

If you act preppy you are most likley indeed a prep. It doesn't always matter what you wear or how you look. Most Preps are Preps from within. Prep Characteristics include Arrogent, Ignorant attitudes that usually outcast people/things that are different. Preps don't care about you unless you kiss their ass. And Preps usually enjoy being crule to people.

Prep: Oh my God, like, look at that Goth kid over there! He's so different, let's go make fun of him!

Prep Crew: Hey goth kid! You look stupid!

Goth: *Stabs preps violently*
Prep Scum...

Prep: Oh my God, I got blood all over my Hollister T shirt! I can't have that! I'll look different!

a prep (female not sure if guys can be preppy-prep-girl-man-ladies but it is the 2000's...but anyways)is a selfconcited, whiney person who usually hates goths,emos, and somespunks but it doesn't matter because its a mutual(sp?) feeling of hatred between the groups

Prep = popular retarted ego-filled person, now this is NOT your usal pop (aka popular) because pops can be nice... like me. This is someone who is pop but will got out of their way to mock people or (and usally will) spend 2 or more hours infrount of the mirror doing their hair ALONE every single day.

Often someone who is conserned with there looks, and wants to look nice. They are usually welthy and shop at stores such as Abercrombie, Holister, and American Egel. Plad capries are very popular, as are polo shirts.
Boys hair fashions are usually cut short with hair gell applied. Girls hair is usually longer, sholders or below, and is well maintained ((sometimes dyed)).
The word 'Prep' was orriginally used for people who went to Prepschools that prepared them for collage. Theses schools usually had a uniform that was the origin of todays prep fashion.
Prep is now sometimes used as a derogitory term by Goths, Punks, Emo kids and others who do not like or are oppisit the prep sub-culture. But this is often steriotypical and groups them all as shallow, mean, and nasty people. But this is often very untrue. Many 'preppy' people are very nice. But you cannot deny that threr are also many 'preps' that are very crule and/or mean to their classmates and peers.

Goth Girl: "God I hate Preps"
Prep Girl: "Do you even KNOW any preps?"
Goth Girl: "No, i just hate how they act.

a type of person ,like myself, who is classy and clean-cut. a prep wouldn't be caught dead wearing hollister, A+F, american eagle, or any of that other trash wanna-be preps wear.we wear lacoste, ralph lauren, lilly, michael kors, marc jacobs,j.crew,gucci, prada, coach, tori burch, jimmy choo, dior, dolce+gabbana, and vineyards vines. the tpyes of clothing we wear are khakis, madris, polos, and other clean cut clothes. our purses are coach, prada, chole, gucci, longchamp, chanel and LL.bean totes. jewerly is from david yurman,chanel and tiffany and co. we wear lougne wear from PINK, northface, uggs, and juicy couture. keep the make up light and simple. some of us are blondes and dyed blondes. a great deal of us are brunette like me. jean brands include 7 for all mankind, citizens, and true religion.

people think of preps as dumb, stupind, or ditzy but really we get in to top-notch colleges because we are smart and because our fathers donate sums of money or because our family's are famous for having more money than god.(my family) speaking of parents, a preps father probably own a huge company or fanchise(my dad owns mccormick+schmicks). we have atleast 3 houses and vaction in the hamptons, nantucket, and martha vineyard's. we drive BMWs, mercedes, bentlys, maybacks, jaguars, range rovers, and audis(just got the new mercedes E-class!) preppy sports include tennis, squash, golf, crew, lacrosse, and horse back riding. most of us are also republics too.we belong to many country clubs. i belong to aleast 7.

prep girls aren't sluty but at partys we have wild fun. prep girls also date very preppy boys. even though most of us have a eating disorder who cares as long as we have a size 0 waistline!we have great fun and nothing keeps us down. so for all u fake preps just cus u have uggs or play tennis doesn't mean u are a prep. a prep is someone who is classy, smart, rich, and stylish.

Prep 

Some one who is into thier school and self appearnce. Many people dont like them and envy them, but true preps can care lass what the lessers think of them. Preps generaly wear Abercrombie and Fitch,Hollister,RUEHL NO.925,American Eagle,Lacoste,Polo,Benneton.Preps are generaly known as the opppsites of goths or punks and often the urban look(FUBU, Sean John, ect.)
Preps usaly have wealthy or atleast comfortable families and they usaly go to collage. After all the word prep derives from prepatory school( a school preparing its students for collage)

Goth- I hate those stupid preppies.
Prep-Whats a goth? I have to go study and then im going to a keg party.
