A term used to ridicule people who buy the lowest spec of a certain car or the cheapest car a high-end brand offers, just to say they drive that car or own a car from that brand.

Examples of poverty spec cars:
Dodge Charger SXT
Ecoboost Mustang
Range Rover Evoque
BMW 2-Series
Regular Hyundai Veloster (Not the N version)

Person 2: “That’s poverty spec bro”
