a poser skater is someone who pretands to be a skater. they are usually people that go to skateparks all the time but just sit on the benches with their board trying to look cool. they usually dress and act like the stereotype but when it comes to actually getting on the board they have no clue what they are doing. you can usually tell if someones a poser skater if they say they can do a boardslide and they bottom of their deck isnt even scratched. it actually doesnt matter if you suck or if you just started but when you say you can do things that you have never tried before because they look "easy" then your a poser. it also doesnt really matter if you wear skate brand tees if you actually like the style just dont wear them if you think it makes you look cool.

(poser goes over to a legde, but since they dont know how to even do an ollie, they jump of the board onto the legde and since they are too "Kewl" to use a helmet, they bash their head into the cement and get knocked unconcious)

rap poser

A person who doesn't even like rap and listens to the pop rap because they think that they look cool. Rap posers don't even look into rap to know that there was old school. Usually they buy the album of the newest one hit wonder and put it in their cd player and don't even listen to it. Rap posers say rock and every other genre sucks without even listening to it because they think that makes them look cool. Real rap fans don't just listen to the pop rap, they usually listen to tupac and notorious B.I.G. and the rappers before them because they know that those were the people who had the best flow, and also real rap fans don't go around saying that rock sucks.

I used to be a rap poser until I listened to Jimi Hendrix and other classic rock and then I started getting into rock and metal because I actually like it and don't pretend to. Now I express my true thoughts on modern rap and the only rap I listen to is old school cause modern is shit.

Poser school

School where all the kids are separated. The social groups are all distinctly separated. The different groups often never interact with each other ever. Oftentimes, this leads to a socially fucked atmosphere at school. There are also many 'fake' kids in these poser schools. They will claim to be someone's friend and then talk shit about them without them knowing. It escalates to a point where most people at the school talk shit behind other people's backs.

Stephanie: Hey mark, good to see you
Mark: (walking by) Hey good to see you two
(Mark walks away)
Stephanie: I hate mark, he's such a faggot
Julie: Yeah but y don't u just tell him instead of pretending like ur cool w/ him?
Stephanie: Y would I do that? We're in a poser school remember?

MLG Poser Wannabes

People who think they are "pro" at a certain game. Usually Halo, Call of Duty, Gears of War. Their gamertags are so retarted and Use UppEr CaSe and LoWer CaSe like ThiS, Use of more leterssss, two ii's, z's, x's, o's, v's etc. They also have a bio that consists of foreign characters that you have to squint your eyes to read that shit. They talk alot of smack and usually mod. Most of them aren't even that good. They promote how "GB" they are and promote their lame youtube channel. They buy Gamerpics such as, Konsole Kings, and MLG Picture Packs. They use vocabulary such as "BK Randy, Scrub, Get Slapped, Get Smacked, etc." They are very easy to find in call of duty game modes such as "Search and Destroy, Demolition, Ground War, and Domination." Their Gamertags would look like: iToo SiiCK, iiTz DropShoTzz, o Examplezz o, Communticationzzz, GeT o SLaPPeD, etc. They range from 13 year olds to 30+ who need to get a job.

Dude, those guys "Communicatez" and "LeGiiT ShOtZ" are such MLG Poser Wannabes, just look at their motto and bio, and they are like 13 years old.

Someone who immediately puts some obscure indie band on their iPod after it was featured on some show (The O.C., Scrubs etc.) and try to act like they are cool and knew who they were all along.

After Eels was on The O.C. everyone become indie posers and downloaded their album.
