Production items, goods, or software products, that matures over time, similar to a banana lifecycle. Green during delivery, yellow (ripe) at the consumption time.

Mostly refers to an exaggeration of a Minimum Viable Product version of the software, being delivered to the users broken/buggy/unusable, and it's gradual updates and fixes after the release due to lack of time.

A very silly monke messed up badly and lost his favourite banana, but he couldn't give up...he made himself better and eventually was reunited with his prize banana and made sure he never did anything so silly again...a monke never gives up on a good banana

A game that has little gameplay and is mostly played to get random item drops which you can sell on a marketplace for minimal real world profit. most of the time the marketplace taxes you and gives a little bit of the money to the creator. the reason it is called a Banana game is because of the most popular example of this is a game called Banana on steam.

Person1: Man I've been making a lot less money from this game then I thought i would.
Person2: Well what did you expect from a Banana game, they are practically a scam.
