Feed The Goat means to do all that is necessary to become great/greater in any aspect of life you see fit, any despite adversity.
Everyone has the potential to be great at something, yet most never will. Just like the nutrients needed for a plant to grow, the greatness inside of you must be fed and nurtured in order to grow as well. So, Feed The Goat.

The act of repeatedly continuing in an arcade video game solely to complete it (usually a 2D shooter where the player's ship or character respawns on the spot instead of being returned to a checkpoint or the beginning of the level), which can only be done if lots of coins are inserted - hence the credit-feed. But it's a very unprofessional way of gaming as opposed to learning and memorizing the levels, and often comes with the penalty of having the player's score reset to 0 every time he or she continues.
Furthermore, to make things even worse, the ability to continue is lost once the final level or boss is reached in some titles - see Point of No Continues.

Joe bribed his way to victory by credit-feeding in Takumi and Capcom's Giga Wing and called it an accomplishment, only for his friend, a seasoned gamer, to slap him in the face.
