Dearborn Syndrome

being held economically captive depending on your circumstances (people with family’s get stuck and can’t escape, non competes are good too, raunchy vesting periods, signing/relo benefits having year long golden handcuffs, and of course H1B employees are excellent for the beast to consume+control) by the employer who shall not be named and hearing about all the suicides/deaths that happen from it who cannot be named but not being allowed to talk about them except when someone is walking by said area where death happened.

Examples of the the “Dearborn syndrome”
* “Ope ya this is the balcony where the security guard saw the splat from floor 11” — Reagent Court
* “oops ya, that’s where the man got his head cut off by a cable when the jig got stuck and his bood sprayed across the floor” —woodhaven stamping

* “Oh ya the manager from x plant shot their head in the parking lot” — I forget which plant… people higher up def would know tho

Similar to "oh my god." To be surprised or amazed at a new happening. Usually not used in a frantic sense as omg can be, but more in a sarcastic or humorous way.
