Bapy (sometimes written as B A P Y) is a deliberate misspelling of the word Baby used to invoke feelings of softness and innocence.

Usually used to describe a person, character or entity, Bapy is synonymous with ideas such as softness, innocence, vulnerability and delicacy.

Bapy is often used to show the adoration of the user (and in instances, express deep platonic love) toward the subject they are referring to.

This word originates from a Video Game named Hollow Knight and is used as a greeting when you approach one of the merchants in the beginning of the game.
