Get the wikymug. Wiki-ism is a mindset where someone is too lazy to develop a personality so they attach he selves to a popular thing(such as comics or video games) and read the wikis to obtain as much information as possible. This allows them to reinforce a superficial personality and to appear to be an expert when they point out every minor change made in adaptation.
Wiki-ists will often catalogue many small details(such as references to other properties) or general plotlines but not understand the actual themes and meaning of the work because they are not actually interested in the work itself.
wiki-ism is excessively common in media and pop culture spaces.
