A glory hole that you have to pay to use. You put money in it and it opens up a hole about the size of a penis and if no ones there you wait till someone pays to use the other side or with a nother type after you pay and the hole opens up a prostitute is on the other side to take your pecker.

Paying 3 thousand dollars for a kilo of narcotics. A semi-preposterous claim by the rapper Jay-Z in his song "empire state of mind." The line is in response to a yung jeezy rap in which he claims to pay Lebron ($23,000) instead of Kobe ($24,000) when he buys drugs by the kilo. Jay-z is either fibbing or is the best drug dealer of all time.

The method for incompetent SEO's to attract traffic for their websites by paying out vast money to search engines. The money is subsequently spent on browsers, time wasters and fraudulent clickers.
Pay per click follows a rigged auction model where no one knows how much the other is bidding, making the search engines huge sums of money for nothing.

When the amount of money saved equals or exceeds the cost of an item or service, usually through an extended period of time.
This is very often used as a means of promoting a good or service, such as gutters, food processors, juicers etc. As in:
"Now with Debby Meyer's green bags, you never have to throw away your produce due to spoilage! Produce lasts up to 7 times longer, saving you money and time. This product nearly pays for itself!"

Because Jack bought a home coffee grinder, he can grind his own beans at home! He no longer has to buy more expensive pre-ground coffee, so in essence his new machine pay(s) for itself.

This is where "hell to pay" originated from. In the days of wooden ships the timber that kept them afloat were covered in pitch or tar. The tar was applied to the bottom of the ship, or "hell" as it was called, and the process was called "paying". But before any of this was done strips of rope, wound fiber or hemp were pounded between the planks. These strips were called the "devil".
To sum it all up "paying the devil in hell" refers to pounding strips of fiber between planks and then coating them in tar. The term "hell to pay" refers to the constant maintenance of applying tar to keep the ship watertight. A job which no sailor wanted considering that "hell" was the darkest, dankest, disease ridden part of a sailing ship.
