A visit of your jungler on your lane in "League of legends". In the best case the jungler helps the laner in some way e.g. killing the enemy.
Sounds great right? Wrong!

The jungler is almost in every case an ape who just knows how to smash his face onto the keyboard and how to feed the enemy. So if a jungler tells you he is about to gank the lane you should expect the worst scenario you could imagine and try to avoid it.

Person A:"Damn my lane is so fu*ked after my jungler ganked me and gave Garen a kill!"
Person B:"Yeah, the jungle difference is huge"!

Spanw Killing or farming off a player. In games where there is a set spawn point and usually when the teams are uneven or there is a really good player v you.

When playing popular mmo league of legends and you are in your lane (a section of the map) and a bastard comes at you from the the front and their stupid ass fucking inbred friend comes at you from either the front or side

A lot of. A plethora or cornocopia. Or, simply used to refer to money (usually in the plural as "ganks" for wads of money). Ganky = rich.

"Dude, don't hit baseballs over there, there's like, a gank of people over there!"

"Sorry, I can't come out for breakfast, I've got to go to work and make ganks."

"How are you? It's the usual with me, just going to my executive job, gettin' ganky."

"Sorry, we do not accept ganks."(potentially seen on a convenience store sign at the register.
