Get the tow-in gatemug. When a tow truck company or a vehicle storage facility changes a status of a tow from "non-consent" (ie, initiated by law enforcement) to "consent" status. The practical effect of doing so is that it allows the tow truck company or the vehicle storage facility to get around laws which limit how much they can charge for their services.
Car owner: Hey - this tow was only supposed to cost me 85 bucks, so why are you giving me a bill for $300?
