Person 1: "what...I said that cuz he lost. rays my boy stupe."
Person 2: "The way you said, it came out like a Gaga statement; could go either way."

bold statement

1.A outlandish statement that could possibly become true, but is very very highly unlikely.

2. A given statement that is so highly exaggerated that it is humorous.

Example #1:

Person 1- "Dude, they are just going to hand the offensive schemes over to Will when he gets there."
Person 2- "Thats a bold statement."

Example #2:
Person 1- "I heard James runs that shit University of Georgetown."
Person 2- "Thats a fucking bold statement dude."
