Milestone Consulting

World domination through the power of positive thinking and outlandish work ethic. Generating success through the "work hard, play hard" enviroment while caring and helping others reach a milestone in their career.
Today is my day to start Milestone Consulting.

Modest Mouse

Modest Mouse is, to be quite honest, the greatest band of all time.

They hail from Issaquah, Washington, and are fronted by Isaac Brock, who, despite being raised in a trailer park, has written some of the greatest lyrics in music.

They became widely known when, in 2004, they released Good News For People Who Love Bad News, which is more upbeat than their earlier work, and it's songs (Ocean Breathes Softly and Float On) began being played by every radio station in the US, at least one an hour.

Members:

Isaac Brock - Vocals/Guitar
Eric Judy - Bass
Jeremiah Green - Drums/Percussion
Dann Gallucci - Guitar/Keyboards/Synthesizers

Midwestern Goodbye

A Midwestern Goodbye is a way to leave an event, party, or any gathering of people. The way one does a Midwestern Goodbye is to go to the door, grab your coat and proceed to talk to your host for multiple hours while next to the door. No matter the soberness of yourself or your host you must engage in an enriching conversation covering recent and past topics and events. A Midwestern Goodbye is commonly associated with Minnesota Nice
Minnesotan 1 : Welp I suppose I should better get going, gotta go to the mall before we get home.
Minnesotan 2 : Which mall?
Minnesotan 1 : Oh just old Ridgedale off of Highway 12
Minnesotan 2 : Really? I’ve never been there.
Minnesotan 1 : Well let me tell you about Ridgedale!

Mandated Modesty

The simple requirement that everyone must dress modestly.

The objective of mandated modesty is to assimilate the culture with traditionalist ideals. The way the masses dress can often be reflective of the state of the culture... in today's age, the typical American will wear sweatpants, graphic t-shirts, 3XL shirts, revealing clothing, awful looking shoes, and so on... These examples serve as a representation of a society that is lazy, depressed, overweight, promiscuous, obsessed with consuming, and ultimately without a purpose- the antithesis of excellence.

This idea is similar to the "broken window theory" regarding that the appearance of the surrounding environments can influence the behaviors of those within that environment. In essence, people will act in accordance with the beauty -or lack of- in their environment.

The low-IQ explanation: Requiring people to "fake it until they become it" to improve the culture.
"I'm tired of walking into Walmart and seeing 3XL graphic t-shirts with coomer-esque references... This is why we need Mandated Modesty!"
