Kited

Short Def : Excuse. Being lied to. Being strung along. Similar to how a mob / enemy gets done in video gaming especially by a ranged attacker

Long Def : When you are told one thing, plan or promise and when the time for that is due you have the process repeated, usually in an exponential and sometimes patronizing, manner. Very common with drug dealers, users ( both mentally abusive towards others, and chemical users such as addicts ). Particularly insulting when you've recently dealt with the same person and kept your word to them.
Charles : "Man, Johnny said he would pay me back a month ago but he keeps giving me excuses every time!"
Joe : "Yeah bro, you're gettin' kited on that if you ask me!"
