A known saying in the Gulf countries, the saying was recently made internationally famous on a song actually titled

“Khali Wali” by “Freek” a rapper from Abu Dhabi ( UAE )

The hook is “ if u hear someone talking shit tell him khali wali, khali wali “

Your friend tells you a person you don’t like wants you to hang out.
