fux (noun)
/plural: fuxes/
Definition:
A software bug that should
have been fixed already but wasn’t—usually because the team prioritized new features over
stability. A blend of fuck-up and bug fix, a fux represents the cost of moving too fast and breaking things without circling back.
Example Usage:
"That’s not just a bug—it’s a fux. We knew about it two sprints ago."
"This crash on launch? Total fux.
Everyone was too busy with the new UI rollout."
"
The product’s full of fuxes. Time to freeze features and
clean house."
