Similar to "romantic", but an incredibly fake version. Someone who is fauxmantic goes through all the motions of romance but isn't serious about any of them.

Girl 1: I just went on the most fauxmantic date last night!

Girl 2: Yeah?

Girl 1: Yeah! Dinner and a movie was just some Jack in the Box and sneaking into a drive through...

Fauxgan

The term Fauxgan describes the new wave of bogan that sports the faux-hawk, drinks and takes drugs to excess and can usually be spotted in surfy shirts, board shorts and thongs. This breed of bogan is native to night spots such as the Deen, the Cott and the OBH.

Fauxmance

this is a relatively new shift in behaviour from z-list celebrities,
mainly borne from reality tv shows such as big brother uk.

the best examples of this behaviour can be seen in magazines such as OK and Heat,

they grab the nearest and equally desperate z-lister to "fall in love" with become the new "it" couple.

As their 15 minutes of fame ticks down to the to their eventual signing on date at the DSS, following the perfume failure, exercise/diet dvd, primark clothing line and appearances on game shows have dried up.

one who is "active in issues" but not actually doing anything about it. They are just being uselessly vocal.

Facebook chainletter posters thing they are helping, but it is really just fauxlanthropy.

fauxmance

A style of hooking up where while everyone knows it's just a hook up, the style of sex is very sensual and intimate as if more romantic and intimate than just a hook up but there are NSA - no strings attached.

They hook up about every six months or so and it's like Romeo and Juliet or Alexander and Hephestain or like one of them is going off to war the next day. They enjoy a little fauxmance but really they're just fuck buddies.
