The bulk of the community are made up of brainwashed young teenagers who have spent too much time reading gender & race discourse on the internet. There are regular arguments in forums around things like this, as well as heated debates around race, trans rights & pronouns, and other sensitive subjects. As a result, there have been several "scandals" where multiple users were banned, and in special cases, even former moderators were forced to resign and leave the community after light-hearted "dark humor" from the ES discord came to light. The only salvageable part of forums is the mature section, which is intended for the use of 18+ users. However, underages users often sneak into the mature section and end up getting banned.
