Black people are fucking up classical shit in a way it hasn't been done in a long time if it's been done before.
Black people might be fucking up country music, classical Greek history, and Nascar racing as much as white people fucked up the blues, rap, jazz, and African history, but at least they are getting even, and that's the point isn't it?

Get the Classical mug.AKA "The Pavlonian Reinforcement". Possibly one of the most important psychological principles you can learn to overcome fear and negative mindsets for good and build CONFIDENCE. The neutral stimulus (NS) is what has no mental reaction, but paying attention to your environment. The unconditional stimulus (US) is what automatically causes your body to react to certain emotions (think anxiety, fear, laughter, happiness, nervousness, sad). The NS turns into the conditional stimulus (CS) when the NS collides with the US. The reaction produced from these 2 stimuli is what's called "The conditioned response".
Here is an example of classical conditioning at its finest...
Let's say you're at the mall or at the store (Neutral Stimulus). All of a sudden, you spot a chick you'd like approach, talk to and meet. But then, the sign of that chick gives you Approach Anxiety (Unconditional stimulus). Next, you get the guts to approach her, talk to her, and kiss her at the end, BUT she either rejects you or asks you if you're crazy or there's anything wrong with you (NS meets US, now NS turns to CS and it produces the conditioned response of a rapid heartbeat, trembling hands, and xerostomia which is cotton mouth). The more this process is continued which is habituation, the more you weaken the conditioned response to feel that icky sensation when you want to make your moves on a girl you like. TRUST ME... you'll feel A LOT more confident at the end!!

Get the Classical Gas mug.a political philosophy perpetuating free-market economics, minimalist government, strong private property rights, non-interventionism, government disinvolvement in social issues, separation of church and state, and open borders. the word "liberal" was originally associated with these beliefs, but liberals eventually started promoting large government, closed markets, redistribution of wealth, and high government involvement in social issues. today, liberal is associated with the latter qualities. the newer liberals are sometimes identified as neo-liberals. in modern day, a classical liberal tends to self-identify as a libertarian, and the term classical liberal is used much less than it was 100-200 years ago. some libertarian causes, like the Mises institute, still commonly use the term.

Get the classical liberalism mug.1) Historically the style of art music common in Europe during the period between the middle of the 17th century and the beginning of the 18th century. The works of Haydn and Mozart and the earlier work of Beethoven (who also played a large role in the transition from classical to romantic) are prime examples. Bach isn't classical. Tchaikovskij isn't classical. Chopin isn't classical.
2) In common language all art music made between the early 17th century to present, usually by composers with education or at least some knowledge of the art of composition. (In other words, practically all art music from the early 17th century up until now.)
There is a lot of wordprejudice/word against both of the above definitions of the term.

Get the classical music mug.A truly beautiful style of music that has lasted for centuries. A style of European art music from the 17th to 18th centuries. Listen to "Winter" by Antonio Vivaldi. It's a masterpiece.
While it is a beautiful style of music, many people look down on many other genres because of it. You can't label every genre as bad just because there are some bad songs from it. I see a lot of talk about rap on this page, and many of criticisms I see come from pure ignorance. Listen to "Eye Know" by De La Soul, and you'll see that not all of it is bad.

Music snob: Classical music is the only real style of music there is.
Open-minded person: I agree that it's very beautiful, but I think you're speaking from ignorance. There's some pretty good rap music out there too if you look hard enough.
Music snob: Rap isn't real music!
Open-minded person: Smh.

Get the Classical Music mug.A genre containing brilliant, timeless works by musical geniuses such as Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Wagner, and a whole host of other European dudes you've probably never heard of. Absolutely brilliant music, especially considering the difficulty a person had to go through to compose before electric instruments and computers. Technically, "Classical Music" refers to the instrumental music of the 1750-1825 period, containing composers like Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven, but nowadays the term covers pretty much all music made with orchestras.
Also, a word used by upper class snobs used to justify their shitty intellectual tastes in music that they only listen to because they want to consider themselves to be educated and classy. Some composers of classical music, such as those of the atonal and serialist genres, deliberately make their music as out of key and musically senseless as humanly possible, and then justify it because it's "intellectual", and took a lot of intelligence and effort to create. The proponents of this form of music then go out and loudly proclaim how their musical tastes are far superior to those of the common unwashed plebeians, who dirty their ears with foul peasant music like rock, or even *scoff* "rap".
These musically educated persons then retire to their weekly top hat appreciation parties and discuss with other like minded individuals about kids these days have no respect for their elders.

I personally think that classical music can be utterly brilliant, but the classical music enthusiasts who constantly insist that they're intellectually and musically superior to everyone else just piss me off.
