a phrase describing the smallest amount of health one can have left in a typical video game health bar without being "dead". typically relevent in fighting games, such as street fighter or tekken

comes from the longer: "classic smidge of red health". this term originated from the popular mid 90s RTS command and conquer, where it was common to have a vehicle or infanty unit with only one pixel width of health left, essentially rendering it useless.

A small, light blue, round hedgehog that has the ability to run at the speed of sound and is known as the mascot of Sega. He's also a pretty cute boy, never failing to make someone go aww.
