to be "anate" is to be in love with your best friend and get upset whenever she hangs out with other guys, despite the fact you are not dating and she has no feelings for you whatsoever. anate constantly gets mad whenever you don't answer the snapchats that they send you, and anate will check your snapchat location frequently to see if you are on snapchat or not. so beware for these suspicious characters and try to keep your distance so they don't catch feels for you!

I don't want to be anate because I like one of my friends and I don't want to come off as clingy or aggressive.
