Ubermensch

The overman, for Nietzsche, did not and could not exist as a contemporary, since he saw himself as living in decadent times incapable of spawning ones who were capable of "standing security for their own destiny." Personally, i would suggest that the Overman would be one who could bear the horror of memory and cognizance of the present while simultaneously retaining the vigor and purpose of those who Nietzsche describes as nobles in "The Genealogy of Morals."

Examples are not helpful. German foot soldiers in WWI carried copies of "Thus Spake Zarathustra." The twentieth century bears witness to the idiocy of Nietzsche interpreters...

übermale

The new-new-new man, ideal male for the second half of the 00 decade, the überman is manly, in a Clint Eastwood, Sean Connery, etc. way, but still takes care of himself and is capable of keeping in touch with his feminine site.

Contrary to the metrosexual, the übermale won't be mistaken for a gay guy, though guys and girls will swoon over him.

- George Clooney is SUCH a good example of the übermale.
- Um. Didn't he get divorced recently?

Ubermensch Syndrome

"Nietzsche syndrome", also known as "ubermensch syndrome", is a psychological problem where a person without the capacity and talent to create value in a societal structure relies upon exaggerated self-worth and delusions of grandeur to prove to themself that their lack of success is a direct result of them being an "ubermensch". Other symptoms of this syndrome include a sense of entitlement, internalized misogyny, racism towards the races deemed weak, and inability to control one's emotions resulting in aggressive outbursts. The afflicted refer to themself as "ubermensch", "overman" or "superman" and everyone else as "the herd". The afflicted also refer to themself as "alpha male" or sometimes "sigma male" as most of the afflicted are male. The person afflicted with this illness usually relies on social safety nets for their day-to-day needs and fending for themselves in the real world can prove to be challenging and depressing for them.

Susan: "Hey John! Why did you quit your job?"
John: "Because I am an ubermensch and I can't work for the lesser people of the herd."
Susan: "Then how are you going to pay for the stuff?"
John: "My father has left me a reasonable sum of money. That should take care of it."

Refering to an awesome power move by an individual. Commonly used in gaming and life...etc....
A phrase created by xamlit.. First recognized when he was backing up an old ford pickup truck into a difficult position. It was a tight fit.. As soon as he came the first words out of his mouth were "ubermaneuver".

My ubermaneuver skillz allowed me to get first place in a Halo tournament.
