Specifically for high school and college students, the week(s) leading up to exams and breaks around the Christmas holiday. Depending on your level of education and the rigor of your teachers/courses, Stressmas can last for just a single week before the holiday break, all the way up to the whole month between the return from Thanksgiving break to the last day of school before winter break.
Stressgiving is a sister term to Stressmas, referring specifically to the time before Thanksgiving break.
The purpose of Stressmas is for teachers to test their students on all the information they possibly can before their pupils go on break and forget it all. This often causes students extreme stress and panic, to the point where they nervously anticipate this time of the semester throughout their whole year.
