stank face

A reflexive expression made by musicians and music lovers - particularly those involved in Black American music scenes (funk, jazz, hip hop, etc.) - to show appreciation for a particularly stanky (i.e. funky) beat, solo, riff or bassline.

Not the face made by white, suburban women whose cats have shat up the litter box. (See Taylor Jones' blog post...)

Brooklyn standoff

A Brooklyn standoff is when multiple roommates want to stay in a rent controlled or super cheap apartment but have grown to hate each other and can absolutely not live together anymore.

doug stanhope

Stand up comedian often compared to the late, great Bill Hicks. Stanhope differs in a number of ways however.

Stunningly, he is actually MORE shocking than Hicks, with arguably a less-political message. This doesn't do the man justice however. He has an incredibly active mind, and superb delivery as well as being incredibly funny.

Less insightful than Hicks perhaps, but if anything, he is funnier.

Also a one time presenter of the Man Show with Joe Rogan which Stanhope himself openly describes as being solely for 'shameless financial gain'.

Also due to run for president of the United States as the candidate for the Libertarian party in 2008.

usually disparaging: 1)a malodorous woman indiscriminently engaging in sexual intercourse of all kinds with multiple partners.
2)A woman who neglects proplerly cleaning her vagina prior to sexual intercourse
3)A woman with a foul mouth and bad attitude.

(a) Amber was a real stank hoe lastnight. She was banging Johnny in the club, ditched him and went home with Larry, and didn't even shower before coming to church this morning!
