A douchey/ middle management way to say "let's come back to that later," or, "hold that thought." Increasingly popular in business speak.

Possibly originally from WWII, referring to putting a pin back in a hand grenade so it won't go off.

Employee: "Will we have health benefits during the furlough?"

Mid-level boss: "Let's just put a pin in that, for now."

Non-issues that clever politicians use to eclipse real issues.

The best example of Flag-Pin Politics would be to provide examples of things that followers of flag-pin politicians would say:

- "Obama isn't wearing a pin of the American flag - which was probably made in China! He isn't a Patriot™ "

- "I really think I'm going to vote for George Bush, he wants to make homosexual marriages illegal"

- "I'm not sure who I'd vote for, Hillary or McCain, they both want to suspend the federal petrol-tax. They really look out for the common man."

To engage in a friendly, playful round of Greco-Roman Wrestling with your Grandfather during which you are pinned to the floor, inadvertently fondled and able to feel his erect penis poking you. Typically result in an immediately yelling of "I give" and no further discussion or wrestling ensues.

Dan: Hey Carl. Want to take a ride with me? I need to run this assisted living brochure over to my Grandpa's house.
Carl: No thanks Braaaaahhhh. I still am scarred from the last time I went with you there. Not this time. No way I am getting the Silver Pin Down again brooooohhh!!
Dan: Oh come one brother!! I can't wrestle him by myself. It's too awkward when Grandma's gone.

Thin arms on a man, usually on a wimp, showing that the wimp never works out, has never done a push-up or pull-up or lifted weights, has no bicep or tricep muscle definition. May be adept at playing video games, but does no physical exercise.
