This fic depicts the main characters of SMZS in an enemies-to-friends-to-lovers, slow-burn, fake-marriage-plot-centred, Royalty/Fantasy Alternate Universe setting inspired by ancient and medieval Indian (and perhaps Middle Eastern) culture. Some would even go as far as to say the world building with its unique take on language, non-cishet conforming societal conventions and general aesthetic is on par with Tolkien's own.
