The J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings OST is the soundtrack to Ralph Bakshi's animated film adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, featuring music composed by Leonard Rosenman. It was issued ...as a double-LP in 1978. In 2001, the album was reissued on CD, with bonus tracks.

a term used to describe someone who participates in many of the following things pertaining to the Lord Of the Rings trilogy:
1)owning all of the LOTR extended editions, and watching the movies and special features multiple times per week
2)quoting at least 80% of the movie from memory and therefor ruining it for people sitting near you
3)owning multiple soundtracks of the instrumental music from the movies
4)owning many items of pariphenalia pertaining to the LOTR trilogy and/or using said items in public
5)dressing up in LOTR authentic costumes and/or participating in LOTR conventions and/or LOTR museum exhibits.

"Dude he watches the LOTR series like 3 times a week, what a LOTRist!"

"Why is that guy such a weirdo? People say he's a LOTRist"

"He calls his dog with a horn of Gondor?! What a LOTRist"

LotR (Lord of the Rings) Real Person Slash fiction (RPS), fanfiction with same-sex themes. Lotrips use the names of actors and other real people involved in making the Lord of the Rings movies with occasional characters from Tolkien's Middle Earth.

Those lotrips about Domlijah as preschoolers was particularly tasteless.

Game created by an MMO company Turbine, based out of Westwood MA. And also a sex act.

Legend has it that A " lotro or LO-TRO" is also a sex act developed during a company Christmas party. First 2 men dress like dwarfs wile, a female or male dress as a hobbit. Then the 2 dwarfs each take turns trying to LO-TRO their ejaculate into the shorter hobbits mouth. The dwarf who succedes from the longest distance wins.
