This whole "get universities to ban Darwin" plot is Gargamelian in it's glory. It's the only word I can think of to describe it.

Gargamel is the antagonist wizard character from the Smuf's whom was a wizard but was also UGLY.

It is a more elaborate way to say that you are bumping uglies and making magic in the bedroom.

Ay man, sorry for your girl making so much noise last night, we had a couple drinks and ended up bumping gargamels all night.
