An episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged Series by LittleKuriboh. In this episode, the duel monster called Nightmare Penguin kidnaps Tea and forces her to duel him so that he can win her body and possess it. He says "penguins" a lot during the episode, and it is questionable as to whether or not he has a penguin fetish. The name Penguin Ex Machina comes from the word Deus Ex Machina, which is Latin for "God from the machine."
"It's a plot device whereby a seemingly inextricable problem is suddenly and abruptly solved with the contrived and unexpected intervention of some new character, ability, or object."
Basically, it was the unexpected appearrance of a Nightmare Penguin.

A god-like, magical, or other powerful force that is around the absolute least amount required to keep a plot moving, but is not exploited or around enough to be more useful than minimally necessary.
"The eagles in 'The Lord of the Rings' and the sentient ocean in 'Moana' are jerk-ass ex machina: They could have solved the entire problem right away by taking the McGuffin straight to its destination without subjecting anyone to a perilous adventure filled with murderous obstacles."
