Colleague-zoned

A contemporary phenomenon that occurs when Dating App conversation is saturated with career talk, becoming difficult to secure a date.

There are similar parallels to ‘friend-zone’. Any attempt to escalate the match to a date is blocked by the girl saying “I feel that you are more like a colleague”.

Colleague's We

A concept derived from software development teams or other teams that have split workloads. It entails a person that does little to no work, but always boasts about "we" and "us" doing work towards the goals the company sets. Often referred to as a free-loader, but more specified towards this use-case of a team-member that acts like they do work but doesn't.
Anne: Did you see how Oliver talked like he didn't have just 2 hours of work last week?
Brian: Yeah, he uses that colleague's we a lot when talking to the boss, so nobody notices him slacking off.
