A person socially outsourced (see definition) but mainly for the sake of jealousy, intrigue, or narcissistic supply.

"wow...did you see Greg buddy-buddy with that guy he barely met at the wedding last night?"

"its just a BFFS (best friend for show), man.

"yeah...that makes me really sad because he used to be my best friend, before I f'd his gf...so... I'm going to flame him, now. Did you know one time he...."

The acronym given to your bestest friend in the whole world! A person who is there for you when you need to be cheered up or if you just need someone to be happy with you. She will do absolutely anything for you, call you out on things when necessary only because she wants you to be the best you can be. You can do the craziest things with her. She is not a sister by blood but better, she is your sister by heart and choice! You can not imagine life with out her. She is an extremely special person and only she will ever hold the term BFFAS!

BFOS

Acronym for Boyfriend Freak Out Syndrome.

When you like someone, get to know them then freakout, run away (or hide yourself in the toilet), and/or do something stupid to sabotage your chances with a guy you like. Usually at a point when it is most important in getting a date, etc.

Friend: Why did you run into the toilet just as that guy was going to talk to you?

You: I dont know I guess BFOS got ahold of me.
