2. The act of being excessively biased/prejudiced to one animal over another
Similar to racism, just with animals instead of races

The characteristics of nature or animals through the lens of the Occident portrayed with negative connotations through films, books and art.

After watching Spielberg’s 1975 film Jaws, Timothy never set foot into the ocean again out of fear that all sharks are blood thirsty human eating fish, as depicted through the films Anthropocentric orthodox, otherwise known as animalitism.

A word synonymous to Orientalism: the West’s perception (negative) of animals opposed to the Orient.
