Twilight Apathy

Someone who has no extreme opinion on the popular book series Twilight. They may accept the limitations of its plot and characters, but can't be arsed to hate on it constantly and always complain of 'sparkly vampire fags'.

Person 1 : I love Twilight! Edward Cullen is SO hot.
Person 2 : Edward Cullen is a glittery fag!
Person 3 : ...
Person 1 and 2 : What?

Post-Ejaculation Apathy

Also known as (P.E.A) The process of when right after a man ejaculates, a trigger occurs and the man's mind and emotions are completely clear. After ejaculating they do not care about anyone or anything and has a huge impact on there decision making. Thats why most guys leave after sex or feel very comfortable around there partner. It is also used as a defense mechanism against women. You see women posses the power of manipulation threw emotions, while guys posses the power of clearing out emotions, but only threw ejaculation.

I had a bad case of Post-Ejaculation Apathy thats why me and maria aren't together anymore.

Did you just not want to be with her or did you have a Post-Ejaculation Apathy?

mass shooting apathy

The condition by which our horror over the reports of innocent lives taken, families destroyed, and not enough done to put an end to such gun based mass casualty violence, over time, leads to mere head nods of sadness given how commonplace they have become, and how in order for us to get through the day, we must block out what we felt over "Sandy Hook" or "Columbine," or "Parkland," multiplied by the number of times it has happened since.

It is sad how, while the one hand, I feel terrible over the most recent mass shooting, my mass shooting apathy has kicked as a survival mechanism, and made me feel less than I did when I first heard of the "Columbine" incident.

Apathy Chicken

A game played when two people refuse to interact with each other until the other person proves their interest in remaining in contact. Like two cars speeding towards each other until they crash, except the only thing that dies is the interpersonal relationship.

I won't text Amy until she texts me, I think she doesn't want to talk to me but maybe we're just playing apathy chicken.

Combination of "voter" - from Latin votum "a vow, wish, promise, dedication" noun use of neut. of votus, pp. of vovere "to promise solemnly, pledge, dedicate, vow." + "apathy" - Greek apatheia "freedom from suffering, impassability," from apathes "without feeling," from a- "without" + pathos "emotion, feeling, suffering."

1) A sense of indolence felt by the voting public when presented with political candidates whose platforms are lies, whose personalities are non-existant, and whose real agendas of embezzlement, excess and arrogance are all too clear.

2) The natural reaction to modern political campaigning, characterized by the brain's complete withdrawal from public politics in order to protect itself from the inevitable implosion caused by rampant media stupidity.

3) The first indications of a violent revolution.

The media shills on the street ranting about voter apathy don't realize they'll be first against the wall when the revolution comes.
