Pulling an Ashley

(Verb)

When one remembers every detail, even those excruciatingly minor which take place in a conversation only to bring them up later. ESPECIALLY when attempting to find a conflict or wish-washiness (often used when no conflict or wish-washiness is actually present).

Boy: That girl is cute.
Girl: You told me I was the most beautiful girl in the world!
Boy: You are, I just said she was cute. But you are beautiful.
Girl: I'm sorry, I was pulling an Ashley.
Boy: It's okay Ashley, its not your fault. Blame your parents for naming you Ashley.

To agree to meet, go out with, make plans with "Fran", and at the last possible moment, he decides to back out, citing some terrible excuse.

A means of escaping a very ugly one-night stand, who is asleep with your arm underneath them. Resulting from absurd drunkeness the night before, impairing your ability to judge the looks of a woman. Origin: If caught in a trap, a coyote will chew it's leg off to get away.

Pull a Matrix

To "pull a matrix" is to "forget" that any sequels of a particular movie existed. By not acknowledging the crapiness of the second and possibly third sequel, you boost the awesomeness of the original.

#1: Ok... that last Pirate movie sucked!
#2: yeah man, I'm just gonna pull a matrix on that... just like I did with Spiderman.
