Trans open

Trans open means you're open to publicly dating people who are transgender or cisgender; pre-op or post-op.

I'm trans open and in a happy relationship with a post-op transgender woman, but I would have been with regardless if she was pre-op or post-op.

1. A trans person whose inexperience in presenting as their preferred gender can be detected in their fashion sense, behavior, or general knowledge in being that gender. Usually it's an endearing term, but it can also be used derogatorily.

2. A trans person who has recently figured out they're transgender.

3. A psychological stage in a trans person's life where they go from conforming to their assigned gender at birth, to having to deal with the issues that come with being out and experiencing the world as a transgender person.
