Earning your gamer's stripes is a bad thing. Gamer's stripes are the result of hitting a computer monitor or tv with enough force to break the internal screen, whilst leaving the rest of the device intact.

2 1/2 Strikes, someone who has been pulled into H.R. at least 2 1/2 times for behaviors unbecoming a corporate environment, and they already are 3/4 the way out the door, owing to their behaviors.

Jared is better known as 2 1/2 strikes because H.R. is ready to boot him out the door, for his behaviors at work.
