Get the Povertiness mug.Poverty Spec is a term used when someone orders or purchases a car from a brand typically known for their higher end clientele (Mercedes, BMW, Range Rover, etc..) with very few options. This is done so the purchaser will seem more wealthy than they actually are.
An example of a "poverty spec" car is a Mercedes C class with just the lighting options to make the badge glow and project the emblem onto the ground under the doors. These cars typically have little to no options other than those that show off the brand.
Please note that this usually can't really apply to super high end cars like Mclarens, Lamborghinis, and Ferraris just to name a few, but it is still possible.
