Legend

Like previous definitions, can be used to show someone who is good at something in particular, or is a good all-round person that people aspire to be.

It is also used more casually on individual occasions where someone has provided/done something and you might say legend! to show more enthusiasm than just saying thanks or well done.

1 - 'Person A - Hey look what I found for sale on this site *links Person B to some rare item*
Person B - Ah you legend i've been looking for that for ages!'

2 - Person A - *opens door a third time for guy that keeps forgetting their keys*
Person B - Cheers, you legend!

Legend Trip

A trip taken, usually by teens, to a location of some sort of significance; the location may be the scene of a terrifying, tragic, or supernatural event, or is believed to be haunted. Once the group (usually consisting of at least three people) arrives at the location, the legend of the place is retold and a dare is issued; this normally includes performing some sort of ritual that provokes the spirit(s) that may be haunting the area (particularly if the spirits are rumored to be evil/malevolent), staying in that location for the entire night, or a combination of both. If they have an experience, such as hearing disembodied voices, feeling some sort of presence, or being touched, then the legend is confirmed. Dreams or nightmares after taking a legend trip are common.

Cemeteries are popular destinations for legend trips. The legend trippers usually go to the headstone to which the legend is attached and sit on it, stand on it, move it, or manipulate it in some way. After the dare or ritual is complete, the participants retreat, taking note of any sort of experiences that could confirm the legend.

A camper once disapeared at camp Bridgeport in 1978. He had been sneaking out of his cabin to visit a girls cabin when he disappeared. They searched for two weeks but could not find him anywhere. A few years later the camp director was staying in the cabin and he heard the boys voice. When he went out side all he found were hoof prints. Legend has it he continues to roam bridgeport camp and attemps to lure children into the woods.

An insult said by General Tozen of the Samurai Faction in For Honor during the attack made by the Vikings in an attempt to reach the city of Koto.

The insult was directed towards the Raider, stating he is “Legendary!” although he/she is not legendary at all and is just a common Raider.

Person 1: You’re so trash, you’re just a Pikeman main!
Person 2: And you are a raider, legendary!
