Nightlight 

A tool commonly used by children under the age of 8 to scare the piss out of the boogeyman as he creeps out of the closet. Causes burning of the scalp, eyes, and genitals.

John's nightlight really helped him get to sleep.

Nightmeat

Nightmeat is any type of meat (usually red meat) that are left overs and are eaten in the middle of the night. Nightmeat can be meat such as tri-tip, steak, ribs, etc... it is usually easy to grab and eat on the go, in such fashion that you can grab a piece of nightmeat out of the fridge and enjoy it while going on your way. This is especially true for ambulance personnel who have to wake up in the middle of the night and eat in the middle of the night.

“make sure there are leftovers so there’s nightmeat!”

“Hey bud, grab me a piece of nightmeat too!”

“Chicken doesn’t count as night meat, that’s junk, bud!”

Nightingale Pasta 

A phrase that is used when more than one neighbors sexual activities can be heard at the same time, giving the impression that a nightingale is dying in boiling agony. The common response to this layer of awkwardness is to eat pasta.

I swear all my neighbors were going at it last night...so I had to bust out the old nightingale pasta cuz I don't have a girlfriend.
