Hot Pocket Effect

n. When you eat a food that feels great when you're eating it but five minutes later it makes you very tired and bloated. Derived from the title food, Hot Pockets, which are famous for being disgusting and delicious at the same time but ultimately causing a nap to ensue a few minutes after its consumption. Examples include Hot Pockets, Lucky Charms and McDonalds.

I shouldn't have had so many Lucky Charms, man. I'm feeling the Hot Pocket Effect.

Mass Effect 3

An excellant award winning AAA scifi video game developed by Bioware and published by EA. In Mass Effect 3 you play as Commander Shepard a Spectre who must save the galaxy from a Reaper invasion. Hundreds of critics praised Mass Effect 3 and it scored dozens of perfect reviews. Unfortunatly the game was hated by thousands of Mass Effect fans because of the sad ending. Many claimed that the last sad ten minutes of the twenty+ hour experience destroyed the entire game. These fans were so disgruntled by the depressing ending that they created the Retake Mass Effect movement. Many developers were harrassed, hundreds of petitions were signed and Bioware was even reported to the Better Buisness Bureau by a Retake Mass Effect member. Eventually Bioware gave into the whining legions of Retake Mass Effect members. Extended cut a free DLC that adressed the plotholes and cliff hangers was released, but this didn't satisfy infact it just made the whiners even more angry because the ending was still sad. Now Mass Effect 3 a brilliant game will just be remembered as a big disapointment by the gaming community.

Critics: Mass Effect 3 is an exceptional game!

This concept is often ignored when people do things for someone else.

Did you hear about what happened to Alice?

She cast the first stone and just kept throwing, then one of 'em hit her glass house and, well, you can imagine.

When watching porn becomes suddenly much more interesting because someone starring in it either is, or looks exactly like, someone you went to high school with.

Usually followed by downloading a hard copy of that porn and archiving it to show other former classmates.

Guy: Dude, I was on YouPorn last night and I recognized this chick I knew from high school. Anyways, I couldnt stop watching!

It seems like all of Ohio suffers from the Jenny Effect- they all think they are smart and can compete with the West Coast, despite their woefully low IQ.
